BS Criminology Iloilo Doctors College of Medicine

The College of Criminology was founded based on the policy and guidelines envisioned by Iloilo Doctors’ College. The significant educational institution actively and continually was involved in turning out graduates who will lead the nation in addressing the vital demands, problems of crime control and meeting the demands for global competitiveness.

In September 9, 1997, Dr. Telesforo M. Limbaga, school administration applied for an initial permit addressed to Dr. Tomas P. Parreño, OIC Higher Education Regional Office No. VI Commission on Higher Education to open and operate Bachelor of Science in Criminology for the first semester school year 1998-1999.

The College started with only six (6) students officially enrolled for the 1st semester 1998-1999 under the supervision of Mr. Carlito Magbanua, MSCrim, as Dean of the College of Criminology with the College of Criminology still under the Arts and Sciences Department.
