Student Credit Cards are offered by banks in Bihar. The government of Bihar is providing credit cards for college students for their higher education. It works like other credit cards but this card is offered only to students who have not enough income for studies. They have a fixed limit of 15,000 INR. The validity of student credit is 5 years. Bihar is the first state who offered this kind of student credit card scheme.

Eligibility for BSCCS :
- A Resident of Bihar State
- Candidate must be 12th pass
- Age must be at least 18+ and less than 25

- Proof of selection by the Educational Institute

- Bank statement of Parent

- Document PAN Card
Procedure to apply for BSSC :
- Visit on the official website of BSSC: https://www.7nishchay-yuvaupmission.bihar.gov.in/
- Click on the New Applicant Registration’ button
- Fill in the details and click on ‘Send OTP'
- Now enter the OTP on your registered mobile number
- Click on Submit and you will be registered
- Now go to Home Page and login it
- The ID and Password will be sent by SMS or Email
- Fill the details and submit
- Select Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme
- Fill the details

Eligibility to get SSC:
College Admission Proof: Student have to prove all college document e.g., college bonafide
Age: Applicant should be 18+ and less than 25 for Undergraduate course and less than 30 Years for Post-Graduate or Equivalent Course
Education loan Holders: Some of the banks offer student credit cards to only those students who took education loans from banks.
FD Holder: Some of the banks offers a student credit card to only those students who have FD on banks
The Average Balance In A Saving Account: If a student has a savings account and has maintained a balance in it then the bank also provides SSC.
