The Nursing program is a four-year degree program that consists of general education and professional courses. The professional courses begin in the first year and thread through the development of competencies up to the fourth year level. The BSN program provides an intensive nursing practicum that will refine clinical skills from the first year to ensure the acquisition of basic clinical competencies required of a nursing practitioner.
The BSN program aims to produce a fully functioning nurse who is able to perform the competencies in the key areas of responsibility such as safe and quality nursing care, communication, collaboration and team work, health education, legal responsibility, personal and professional development, quality improvement, research, management of resources and environment and record management.<
