Manila Central University is one of the pioneering schools that offered the B.S. in Medical Technology program in 1962, under the College of Pharmacy in Zurbaran, Manila. It was conceived through the concerted efforts of Dr. Filemon G. Tanchoco, Jr.; Dr. Jose L. Mencias and Miss Corazon M. Mendoza.
The first batch of alumni graduated in 1966 and the legacy of producing competent medical technology graduates continues up to this time. Over the past fifty years, successive leadership of the College had worked tirelessly towards the realization of its goals and objectives making MCU as one of the reputable institutions offering Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology program.
