The Director General of Medical Education & Training Uttar Pradesh has announced the schedule for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Undergraduate (UP NEET UG) 2024 counselling. As per the schedule, the UP NEET UG 2024 counselling registration window will open on August 20.
Eligible candidates can register for the UP NEET UG counselling 2024 round 1 through the official website at upneet.gov.in.
As per the schedule, the UP NEET UG 2024 counselling registration process will continue till August 24. Admissions for 85% of the state quota seats in government medical colleges and all MBBS and BDS seats in private medical colleges will be based on the NEET UG 2024 merit list.

Important instructions for UP NEET UG 2024 Counselling Round 1
- According to the G.O/Brochure issued for UP NEET UG 2024, the notice indicated that candidates are responsible for verifying their eligibility.
- To participate in the counseling process, candidates must register online and pay a registration fee of Rs. 2000/- through the official website upneet.gov.in
- Additionally, candidates must pay the security deposit online: Rs. 30,000/—for government state quota seats, Rs. 2,00,000/—for private medical college seats, and Rs. 1,00,000/—for private dental college seats.
- Only candidates whose original documents have been verified online and who have paid the security deposit will be eligible for choice filling.
- The UP NEET UG 2024 brochure and important instructions are available on the websites upneet.gov.in and dgme.up.gov.in. Candidates are advised to visit these sites regularly for the most current information.
