UP NEET Counselling 2023 Dates, (Out) Merit List, Registration, Seat Allotment Result , Round 1, Round 2 , Round 3 Schedule
UP NEET 2023 merit list has been released online. The merit list for UP MBBS/BDS admission 2023 comprises eligible candidates for counseling rounds. Candidates will have to declare a preference for choices for college and course for seat allotment. Candidates can fill in choices for round-1 DGME UP NEET UG 2023 counseling from July 31 to August 3. Round-1 seat allotment result for UP NEET 2023 counseling will be declared on August 3/August 4.
Registration for round-1 UP NEET 2023 counseling was started on July 25. Candidates had to register online and submit an application form to participate in the seat allocation process. UP NEET 2023 counselling is held by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET). Registration can be done on the official website, upneet.gov.in, till July 28. The documents were verified online from July 25 to July 28. It must be noted that UP NEET counseling 2023 will be held for allotment of 85% of seats. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET 2023 counseling to allot the remaining 15% of All India Quota seats. Qualifying NEET 2023 with the minimum cut-off is a mandatory criterion for counseling.
UP NEET 2023 counselling will take place in three rounds. The third round will be an open or mop-up round. After the first round of DGME UP NEET UG 2023 counseling, the vacant seats will be moved to the second round.
It is important to note that admission to MBBS/ BDS programs offered by the medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh is based on the marks scored in the (NEET) National Eligibility cum Entrance Test only. The state will conduct no other entrance exam for this purpose. Seats are allotted based on choices filled, NEET score, reservation factors, etc.
UP NEET Counselling Process 2023
Registration – Students must register on the official website in order to attend the UP NEET Counseling in 2023 website – https://upneet.gov.in/
A fee of INR 2,000 must be paid for registration to be successful. Candidates registered for the first round do not have to register again for the second round.
For successful registration, a fee cost of INR 2,000 has to be paid. Credit cards, debit cards, and net banking can all be used to pay the registration fee.
Security Money – After registration, candidates must pay a refundable security deposit or "security money." The payment for this security must be made via a demand draft payable to the "Director General, Medical Education & Training, U.P." and sent out to Lucknow. The security money varies for the students who wish to participate in private or government colleges. The amount of security money also varies for medical and dental courses.

Verification of Documents – A candidate must report to the nodal centers for document verification after successfully registering and depositing the security money. If a student fails to report to the respective nodal center in the specified time, their seat will be given to the student next in line. Only after the successful verification of the documents will a candidate be able to proceed to the next stage of UP NEET counselling 2023.
Choice Filling and Locking – Post the documents verification, candidates must log in on the UP MBBS counselling 2023 official website and select the desired institutes in order of choice. A step-by-step guide for the choice filling and locking procedure in the counselling of UP NEET 2023 is given below:
- Login: One has to log in using the NEET 2023 roll number and password. An OTP will be sent to the students on their registered mobile numbers.
- Choice Filling: A college list will appear on the screen. Candidate must select the desired colleges in the order of preference. Those applying for private and minority institutes should carefully check all the information about the colleges and their fee structure before choosing them. After choosing the preferred colleges, a student must save the selection to continue.
- Options locking: The choices must be locked and submitted before the last date. For the students who fail to submit the final choices, their application will not be considered for NEET Uttar Pradesh counselling 2023.
- List Of Seat allotment: Once the choices are submitted, DMET reviews all the candidate applications and forms a merit or seat allotment list for the selected aspirants.
- Reporting to the college allotted: Those who want to continue with the seat allotted to them in the UP NEET 2023 counselling need to report to the college allotted to them. They must report to the college before the last date and carry the relevant documents.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates were registered in NEET as per NTA eligibility guidelines.
- Candidates have passed class 12th or equivalent in Uttar Pradesh.
- It shall be mandatory to present the "General Resident Certificate" issued in the prescribed format by the said candidates.
- Candidates who have not studied in Uttar Pradesh but are native to Uttar Pradesh will have to produce the "original resident certificate."

UP NEET UG Counselling 2023: Round 1 seat allotment result out
The Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, declared the first allotment result for the state's NEET UG Counselling 2023. Candidates who have registered for the counselling process for admission to MBBS and BDS courses can check the UP NEET UG allotment result through the official website at upneet.gov.in.
The aspirants can download the allotment letter and take admission between August 5, 2023, to August 8, 2023.

UP NEET UG Counselling 2023: Round 3 Registration (Started), Merit List
Registration for round 3 UP NEET 2023 counseling started on September 8. Candidates must register online and declare a choice for college for seat allotment. The deadline for round 3 registration is September 11. The merit list will be released for UP NEET UG counselling 2023 round 3 on September 12. According to the UP NEET 2023 counselling schedule, college and course choices can be declared from September 13 to September 15. Seat allotment results for round 3 counseling will be declared on September 16/17.
Round 2 seat allotment result for UP NEET 2023 counselling has been declared on August 28. DMET has uploaded round 2 counseling results online.
