The NEET 2024 Registration window will close on March 9. However, several aspirants are demanding a deadline extension alleging that the OTP is not getting generated. Candidates must know that it is mandatory to enter OTP to fill NEET form.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET) UG 2024 registration is underway on neet.ntaonline.in. However, some candidates need help getting themselves registered for NEET 2024. NEET aspirants are complaining that their mobile number is correctly filled, but OTP needs to be generated. Considering the application form deadline drawing near, candidates seeking to apply for the exam are raising concerns regarding technical issues. The National Testing Agency, NTA, has yet to share any official update on deadline extension or the issues raised by aspirants.

Aspirants took to Twitter to share the issues. A post on platform X reads, "NEET UG 2024 applicants are facing problems in receiving OTP on their mob while login with aadhar card details-either not linked with mob no or linked mob no is unavailable. It is requested to extend the application portal till March 15 in student interest."

NEET UG 2024 Date

NEET UG 2024 will be conducted on May 5, 2024. Over 20 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the exam. Once the registration window closes on March 9, candidates will be given time to make changes/corrections to the application form. The exam shall comprise 200 multiple-choice questions (four options with a single correct answer) from (PCB) Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and zoology), of which 50 questions in each subject will be split into 2 Sections (A and B). The Examination duration will be 200 minutes from 2.00 PM to 5:20 PM.

  1. Go to the official website of NTA Exams- exams.nta.ac.in or neet.ntaonline.in
  2. On the homepage, click the NEET UG link
  3. Select the online registration link and enter OTP
  4. Fill out the form and upload the required documents
  5. Pay the fees and submit the form
  6. Download the verification page and take a copy of the form for future reference
