Biomedical Devices aid in the mechanical process of prosthetics, for example, implants that replace parts of organs, electronic devices that can be used for diagnostics or software like those used for better imaging.
The program gives undergraduates solid foundations in the multi-disciplinary area of Biomedical Engineering, including elements derived from Health Science, Engineering, Computer Science and Design. The program helps engineers develop abilities to solve problems in health sciences.
