From the year 2019 onwards, the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The registrations for the NEET 2019 exams were stretched by another week. Candidates who are interested or willing to make their career in the medical segment they can visit the NTA’s official website and apply at nta.ac.in. The exams are generally scheduled to take place in the month of May and are to be taken in the offline mode.
Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2019: Certain eligibility criteria’s are to be full-filled by the candidates in order to appear for the NEET exam. The pointers are given below:
Application Form for NEET 2019: The application procedure is similar to the other examinations i.e. registration, form fill up and finally payment. The application generally comes out during the month of November and is to be completed by December.
After these steps, a confirmation is generated and then the candidates are required to keep a print out of the same. Candidates who successfully fill the details then receive their admit cards by the month of April.
Exam Pattern for NEET 2019: The exam is generally taken on Pen and Paper i.e. on an offline medium. The exam duration is of 3 hours and consists of a total of 180 questions. There are different languages in which one can opt to take the exam namely English, hindi, urdu, tamil etc. There is negative marking for every wrong answer and thus one should be highly careful about the same. However, the candidates would be allotted 4 marks for every correct answer. There are four sections Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology consisting of 45 questions in each segment.
The candidates will be receiving a notification for their results by the month of June. They are to be checked on the official website of NEET after entering the ID and Password along with the registration number. Re-checking or evaluation is not permitted in case of this exam.
