Bihar PGMAC Counselling 2024: Registration (Started), Dates, Choice Filling, the Process

Registration for Bihar NEET PG 2024 counselling started on November 4, 2024. Candidates will have to submit the application form by November 8, 2024. It must be noted that only online application forms will be accepted for Bihar PG medical admission in 2024. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) conducts the counseling. 

Candidates will have to register online for Bihar NEET PG counselling 2024. A login ID and password will be generated after success registration. Details such as NEET PG roll number, date of birth, and contact number must be submitted for registration. The Bihar PGMAC 2024 application process comprises registration, providing personal and academic details, uploading a photograph and signature, and paying nonrefundable and refundable security fees. A merit list is released based on registration, NEET PG rank, and other criteria. Candidates on the merit list can participate in 50% of All India Quota seats. Candidates in the merit/rank list must declare their choice for course and college online. Segments are allotted based on declared choices, availability of seats, reservation criteria, and NEET PG rank. The seat allotment result will be uploaded online. Candidates must download the result PDF from the official website by providing details such as PGMAC ID, password, security pin etc. 

Bihar PGMAC 2024 is conducted for admission into postgraduate medical courses such as MD/MS/PG Diploma. A total of 3 rounds of counseling are held for seat allotment, including a mop-up round. Candidates who qualify for NEET PG and have a domicile in Bihar are eligible to participate in Bihar NEET PG counseling. 

Bihar PGMAC 2024 Eligibility

Candidates have to fulfill specific requirements to participate in Bihar NEET PG counselling. Some of the eligibility criteria for Bihar PGMAC have been enlisted below:

• Candidates must be citizens of India.
• They should have passed the MBBS from any Medical College of Bihar established or financially aided by the State Government or private management / Corporation.
• One year compulsory rotating Internship as on the date mentioned in the brochure
• Candidates must have obtained permanent Registration from the Medical Council of India or the Bihar State Medical Council.
• There is no age limit. 
• Must have qualified and scored the cut-off marks

Bihar NEET PG 2024 Counselling: Documents Required

Candidates will have to submit original certificates during Bihar NEET PG 2024 counselling. Self-attested photocopies along with the original of the following documents have to be submitted with the application form at the time of counselling for Bihar PGMAC 2024:

• Residential Certificate
• Caste Certificate
• College leaving certificate
• Rotatory Internship Completion Certificate
• MBBS passing certificate
• Mark sheets of MBBS
• Medical Registration Certificate
• Admit card of NEET PG 2024
• 6 photographs identical to the one used on the admit card
• Any other required certificates/documents as mentioned in the prospectus of Bihar PGMAC 2024

Bihar PGMAC 20224: The Process

Bihar PGMAC 2024 involves a series of steps, starting with online registration and submission of the application form. After registration, a merit list is released based on NEET PG 2024 marks and other factors. Based on the eligible candidate's merit list, the candidate must fill in their choices online for Bihar PGMAC 2024 counselling. Seat allotment results are released separately on the official website for each round. After seat allotment, candidates must report physically at the reporting centre for document verification. After document verification, if a candidate is found eligible, then he/she will either take admission or go for free exit. All the rounds of counseling will be held online except the mop-up round. Registration/Application for Bihar PGMAC 2024

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) will release the prospectus for PGMAC 2024 online. Candidates should read it carefully before registration for the Bihar PGMAC counseling 2024. The application process includes registration, filling in details in the application form, uploading images, and fee submission.

How to do online Registration?

• The steps for online registration for Bihar PG medical admission 2024 are as follows:
• Visit the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in
• Select “Online application portal of PGMAC-2024.”
• Click on “Apply Online”
• Enter details such as NEET PG roll number, date of birth, email ID, contact number, etc, and click “OK.”
• An OTP will be sent to a registered mobile number for data verification
• The candidate will receive a message of successful registration

Submission of Online Application Form

• After successful registration, candidates will have to log in to their accounts with the application ID and password
• Provide personal details and upload a signature and photograph as per the specifications mentioned in the prospectus
• Enter educational details as well
• Candidates can purview all details to ensure they are correct
• At last, pay INR 2200 as the registration fee, irrespective of the category.

Choice filling for Bihar PGMAC 2024

After registration, candidates must log in using the user ID and password to fill in college choices and subjects in order of preference. Once choices are filled in, it can be modified before locking it. Candidates have to click on the "Unlock Choices" button after authentication/verification of obtained OTP on their Registered Mobile no. and email and can modify their choices until the last date of choice locking. 

Seat Allotment Result for Bihar PGMAC 2024

Seats for different rounds of Bihar NEET PG 2024 counseling will be allotted based on choice filled, availability of seats in a particular institute or course, reservation factor, and other aspects. Seat allotment results will be uploaded online in PDF format. Candidates will have to download the seat allotment result from the official website. After seat allotment, candidates must report to their respective institutes for document verification.
