Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, is a private deemed university established in 2001. Admissions

Admission to the B.Tech programme at VIT Vellore is determined by a candidate's performance in the VITEEE exam, followed by VITEEE counselling. Admission to other courses, including B.Sc, B.B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, and M.Sc, is determined by previous qualifying exam performance. A valid NATA score is required for admission to the B.Arch programme. For M.Tech and MCA admission, the VITMEE entrance exam score is accepted.

VIT Vellore Placements

VIT Vellore has completed its 2022 recruitment drive. 863 recruiters visited the campus. The major recruiters were Dyte, PayPal, DE Shaw, and others. To date, these recruiters have placed a total of 7462 students. Students were presented with 2562 Super Dream Offers and 2907 Dream Offers. The highest annual salary was INR 1.2 CPA. The average annual salary was INR 8.19 LPA. The highest package increased by 70.45% in 2022 compared to 2021, while the average package increased by 13.27%.
