Jharkhand NEET 2023 counseling for the academic year 2023-24 is being conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB), the Government of Jharkhand. The Jharkhand NEET 2023 counseling merit list is expected to be released on July 31, 2023. After the JCECE merit list announcement in 2023, candidates can exercise choice filling and locking options. The JCECE application process commenced on July 25; the last date to complete the form was July 29, 2023. Candidates were allowed to avail of the JCECE 2023 application correction facility until July 30, 2023. 

The Jharkhand NEET 2023 counseling Admission to the state quota seats of MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses offered by the institutes in this state will be through the Jharkhand NEET counseling 2023. The Jharkhand NEET counseling process is being organized and conducted online through the official website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in, for the upcoming NEET UG 2023 aspirants. All the important steps will be done online, such as counseling registration, choice-filling and locking, provisional and final results issue, and document uploading.

The JCECE counseling 2023 will be conducted based on the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) scores. Eligibility Criteria

The Jharkhand NEET Eligibility Criteria 2023 is mentioned below: 

• Candidates must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects from a recognized board.
• They must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in 10+2. Reserved category candidates are relaxed by 10% of marks in aggregate.
• Candidates must have qualified for NEET 2023.
• If a candidate is taking admission under a state quota seat, he must have a domicile in Jharkhand state.
• The lower age limit to apply for NEET 2023 Jharkhand State Counselling is 17 years, calculated as of December 31, 2023. 
• Candidates must satisfy the physical standard rules to get admission to medical colleges.

Release of Jharkhand NEET Merit List

Candidates can download the Jharkhand NEET provisional merit list 2023, published in PDF format. The JCECEB, the official counselling conducting body for the Jharkhand state, will release both the provisional and final merit list for Round 1, Round 2, and the mop-up round.

Jharkhand NEET counselling Choice filling

Candidates will now get a chance to choose the course/college as they wish. Each candidate must fill in as many choices as he/she can, in decreasing order of preference. Students must fill in the choices carefully and review the college's fee structure before applying.

NEET 2023 Jharkhand State Counselling is an online procedure. Jharkhand Board will share a merit list for admissions to 85% of state quota seats in Medical Colleges. The admissions to the remaining 15% quota seats will be made through NEET 2023 Jharkhand State Counselling.
