Eligibility Criteria

 

The criteria for eligibility to DNB within Geriatric Medicine are defined as the conditions, or minimum requirements applicants must satisfy to be considered to be admitted, and these comprise:

  • Candidates must hold the bachelor's MBBS qualification from any institution recognized by MCI, currently NMC.
  • Candidates must have completed the compulsory rotation internship for one year at a teaching college or another institution acknowledged by the MCI, which is currently NMC.
  • The applicant must be registered permanently at any State Medical Council to be admissible to be admitted.
  • The medical school's acceptance cut-off dates for MBBS Degree courses and the compulsory Rotatory Internships will be set by the Medical Council of India (now NMC).
  • Candidates who complete the final examination, which results in the award of a Postgraduate Graduation (MD/MS) at one of the Indian universities, which is validly recognized under the requirements under the National Medical Commission (NMC) Act 2019. Additionally, the premier schedule in the IMC Act can apply for the DNB Final examination in the same broad area of expertise.

 

Admission Process
