Being a part of the National Institute of Technology Agartala, this department starts its journey in the academic year of 2009-10 with sanctioned intake capacity of sixty students in undergraduate level. The department is offering M. Tech in Chemical Engineering from July, 2013. Presently department has sufficient dynamic and proactive faculty members. However, the department continues to thrive with more talented and vibrant faculty members to serve the institute, as well as the society by exploring research works with academia.
