The Department of ECE was established in 2007 and Shri Manik Bhowmik was the first HOD of the then Electronics and Electrical Engineering. Since its inception the Department has grown in multidimensional direction with multidimensional UG & PG teaching aspects. The department offers a wide range of courses which address almost the entire arena covering VVLSI, Nano-electronics, Fabrication and Characterization of Nano Scaled Devices, Advance Microwave Electronics, Non-Linear System Science, Modern era of Communication, Image Processing to mention a few.
