Currently, the stream of Mechanical Engineering offers programs at undergraduate (B. Tech.) and post-graduate (M. Tech., MS and PhD) levels having courses in the area of Thermofluids, Design, Manufacturing and Materials. The undergraduate curriculum of the stream mainly integrates fundamentals of mechanical sciences & engineering along with electives concerning allied and general topics including professional ethics. M. Tech. at PG level is offered in Manufacturing and Materials Engineering emphasis on developing depth in both fundamental and applied aspects with inquisitiveness.
