NEET PG exam date likely to be announced this week

The next date for the NEET PG exam will be announced this week. The exam was postponed on Saturday morning, 12 hours before the scheduled date.
The NEET-PGT-PG, an entrance examination conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE) to determine eligibility for admission to postgraduate medical programs in govt and private medical colleges across the country, was postponed on Saturday, less than 12 hours before it was scheduled to be held.
NBE president Dr Abhijat Sheth told TOI they are working closely to ensure the exam happens soon. "We should be able to decide the exam date by this week," Dr Sheth said.
He expressed regret over the sudden postponement of the NEET PG exam on Sunday, for which more than two lakh students have applied this year.
"I want to assure students that this has been done as a preventive measure only and to make the process stronger, safe, transparent, and secure. At the same time, we are working closely to ensure that this happens soon rather than late," the NBE president said.
