CLAT is a National Level Law entrance exam that helps students get admission into government and private law colleges in the country. A national law university is responsible for conducting the exam every year. CLAT 2020 will be conducted by National Law University Odisha (NLUO), Cuttack.

1.National Law School of India University Bangalore (NLSIU Bangalore)
National Law School of India University Bangalore (NLSIU Bangalore) is the first Law University in India. The college was founded in 1987 by the Karnataka Legislative Assembly for undergraduate and graduate legal education in India.
2.National Academy of Legal Study and the Research University of Law, Hyderabad
National Academy of Legal Study and the Research University of Law, Hyderabad, also known as NALSAR University of Law. The college is one of the leading universities of law and was founded in 1998 by a Statute of the State of Andhra Pradesh. The institute offers world-class education and modern facilities. 3.The West Bengal National University of Judicial Sciences (WBNUJS)
NUJS is considered one of the best amongst the elite national law schools in India, built on the five-year law degree model proposed and implemented by the Bar Council of India. The university offers a five-year integrated B.A./BSc. LLB (Hons.) degree program at the undergraduate level and a Master of Laws (LLM) program at the postgraduate level.
4.National Law University Jodhpur (NLU Jodhpur)

5.Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar
Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar (GNLU Gandhinagar) is one of the national law universities in India. The college was founded in 2004 by the Govt. of Gujarat under the Gujarat National Law University Act. The law institute is recognized by the Bar Council Of India (BCI). GNLU Gandhinagar offers various courses like LUG, PG & Ph.D. Course.
6.The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law Punjab
The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law Punjab is one of the well-developed law institutes in the state of Punjab. The college was founded in 2006 by a Statute of the State of Punjab. RGNUL Punjab offers various courses like UG, PG Ph.D., etc. RGNUL Patiala aims to promote cultural, legal, and ethical values to remote and foster the rule of law and the objectives enshrined in the Constitution of India.
7.National Law Institute University, Bhopal
NLIU Bhopal was first started with a five-year integrated LLB course – BA LLB (Hons.), and now it offers three more courses in law at the postgraduate level. Moreover, NLIU Bhopal will soon start a Post Graduate Diploma in Law specializing in Cyber Law and Cyber Security, GST, and Consumer Protection Laws and Practice. 8.National Institute of advanced legal Sciences (NUALS)
National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Ernakulam is a State Law University and one of the reputed universities in Kerala state, in Kochi city of Ernakulam district. It was established by Act 27 of 2005 of the Kerala State Legislature. It was earlier known as National Institute for Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS). It is situated in Kochi - the industrial capital of Kerala and the seat of the Kerala High Court, a 10-acre plot in the Kinfra Hi-Tech Park at Kalamassery. The university provides PG, PG Diploma, Integrated BA-LLB, Ph.D., and Certificate level Programs under its curriculum.
9.Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU)
RMLNLU offers a BA LLB (Hons) integrated program and LLM degree, approved by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the university's Academic Council. It also extends a regular Ph.D. program which is of five years. These courses are offered in full-time mode.
10.Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU)
HNLU (Hidayatullah National Law University), named after Justice M. Hidayatullah. It is the 6th National Law University in the country. The Chief Justice of the High Court of Chhattisgarh is the Chancellor of the University. It aims to instill in the students a sense of social responsibility and train them to face various legal challenges. The program includes various activities like legal-aid clinics, legislative drafting, seminars, and working on real-life socio-legal problems.
