The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is one of the state-level examinations organized by the KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority). This particular examination is conducted with an objective of selecting candidates for admission into Engineering courses, AYUSH, Farm Sciences, and B.Pharm programs. The KCET 2019 has been scheduled to be held across four days:
Application Fees
The application fees for KCET 2019 are mentioned as follows:
General and OBC candidates: INR 650
SC/ST candidates: INR 500
Examination format
KCET 2019 is all set to host a total of 60 objective type questions in each of the sections. Depending upon the scores that candidates secure in the KCET, they shall be allotted seats into respective institutes. This is when their respective rankings would be considered to be the measurement unit.
The KEA has reported to conduct the KCET Agriculture Practical Test on 18th May, 2019 for those candidates who have been seeking admission under the ‘Agriculturist Quota’ in various Farm Universities. In order to allow candidates claim their seats under the particular quota, a test would be held on “Identification of Agriculture Related Specimens”. For securing qualification, candidates should score at least 50% marks in their examination.

Some important dates to remember
The online application form for KCET 2019 has already been made available on their official website. The same will be available till 28th of February, 2019. It has been expected that more than 1.7 lakh candidates will be attending the exam this year. 6th March, 2019 has been announced to be the last day for candidates to pay the application fees. The admit cards for KCET 2019 is expected to be made available from 16th April, 2019. Once the examinations are over, the results are expected to be announced on 1st June, 2019, while the 2nd week of June is allotted for counseling of KCET qualifiers.
