Developing country like Nepal seeks infrastructural developments tremendously and civil engineering skilled manpower is required in large scale to fulfill the requirement. Most of the civil engineering projects include development of various structures in almost all the fields, like in water supply, hydropower, irrigation, transportation, environmental works, building construction etc. The structural engineering is necessary to design almost all kind of objects required for civil engineering projects and the country at present includes structural engineers in less than 150 numbers. One hydropower project may need more than 5 structural engineers and one major building project may require more than 3 structural engineers.
