MFA is a postgraduate course in the study of visual and performing arts. A candidate has to be a Bachelor of Fine Arts from a recognized university in order to be eligible for this course. MFA (Masters of Fine Arts) is a two-year program and some colleges offer the course with a specialisation or give the candidate the freedom to choose a specialisation while doing the course. The course is completed over the duration of four semesters.
