Department of Civil Engineering started its first batch of 4-year B. Tech course in Civil Engineering from July 2013. The Department currently offers 4-year B. Tech programme in Civil Engineering and Ph.D programme. Admission for the 4-year B. Tech Civil Engineering is through IIT-JEE with an intake capacity of 40 students. The Department will be starting soon the M. Tech programmes in various disciplines, viz. Structural Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering and Transportation Engineering. The Department consists of a team of talented faculty members who contribute to the development of the young minds. The Department aims to be one of the pioneering centres of teaching, training and advanced research in Civil Engineering.
