The School of Public Health and Community Medicine (SPHCM) is responsible for teaching and supervising Undergraduate (UG) students of MBBS, BDS, BSc. Nursing, BSc. MLT; Junior Residents (Community Medicine & Tropical Diseases) and PG students of MPH.

The UG teaching activities include Structured Interactive Sessions (SISs), Learning In Field (LIF), Seminars, Family Health Exercise (FHE), Problem Based Learning (PBL), Community based residential postings, Community Diagnosis Programs (CDP), Epidemiological Skills and Management (EPIDMAN) and Management services for health services (HEALTHMAN).

The MD Community Medicine and Tropical Diseases teaching includes training the residents in public health disciplines, community based clinical and public health activities, Research Methodologies, clinical postings to Internal Medicine including Tropical Ward, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Pa
