Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology, Kolkata was founded in 2001. It is a member of MAKAUT and is recognized by AICTE. Admission 

Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology offers a broad range of courses for students at the graduate and undergraduate levels in information technology, engineering management, and sciences, emphasising engineering. The undergraduate courses that are offered through MSIT consist of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) programs, and postgraduate programs consisting of Master of Technology (M.Tech) as well as a master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA).

• Acceptance into this B.Tech program is based on the scores obtained during the WBJEE exam. Admission is also made through the JEE Main scores.
• Admission to the M.Tech program is done by a test of rank obtained by applicants during the GATE exam.
• Admission to BBA or BCA courses is based on merit in the 10+2 exam that qualifies you for admission and CET Exam.
• The admission process into the MCA program is based on submitting the JECA (Joint Admission into Computer Applications).
• Acceptance into the MBA program is based on a ranking obtained by applicants in the National exam of the highest level CAT, MAT or JEMAT.
