The course is constantly evolving and allows students to investigate various aspects of the digital media landscape. The focus of the course mostly revolves around Mass Media and its roots in social media; Digital Marketing; Social Media; Digital Media Communication, PR and Advertising, and Digital Media and Contemporary Relevance. Students enrolled in the program will be trained in public relations, advertising, digital storytelling, podcasting, and more.

Academic Framework

Since its beginning, the primary focus of higher education in UPES has been to research and encourage learning areas that are both innovative and futuristic. This has resulted in continuous improvement in the way we facilitate collaboration and creative learning activities for students by reorienting the courses and exploring virtual tools and open-source courseware. This has led to an environment of learning that is apprehensive and accessible to a wealth of information.

The new framework for curriculum at UPES, ABLE (Academic Blueprint for Learning Excellence), is comprehensive in its overall design and yet is focused on the specific needs of each student to learn experiences, discover, investigate, and be challenged. The learning is broken down into core subjects and core specialisms minors/experimental subjects, life-skills, and signature subjects. The recently established School provides these three courses for life.

SFL (School for the Future) is an integral component of the complete UPES student experience. It facilitates learning and education that has an ideal blend of the needs of students and what is expected of their future as global leaders and citizens of the future. Through courses that are designed to provide students with the ability to learn for life and an emphasis on a broad range of current issues, the requirement of a professional and social internship that is distinctive, UPES believes in igniting to inspire the best version inside every person to make a difference in the world.

The students should have Fifty percent in X, XII, and Graduation in all streams.
