A part of the CRP (Common Recruitment Process), the IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) organises online examinations for selecting candidates for the designation of PO (Probationary Officer) and MT (Management Trainee). These candidates are hired for several banks.
Stages of IBPS-PO 2019
There are two phases that the online exams of IBPS PO are divided into. These phases are mentioned below:
Each candidate who clears the preliminary as well as the Main tests is required to appear for the Personal Interview round. Candidates who successfully clear the interview round are then shortlisted for the posts of PO/MT. Depending on the volume of vacancies and the business requirements of banks, shortlisted candidates might be posted at any one of the banks that have participated in the recruitment process.

In order to qualify for the IBPS PO 2019, there are certain eligibility criteria that candidates must fulfill. Below, we have tried to list all the general requirements:
Nationality/ Citizenship
The candidate must be Indian citizen or that of either Nepal or Bhutan. Candidates that are Tibetan Refugees by origin and arrived in India before 1st January, 1962, are eligible to appear for IBPS PO 2019. Other than the above mentioned list of people, Indians who had originally migrated from Burma/ Pakistan/ Sri Lanka/ Uganda/ Kenya/ Malawi/ the United Republic of Tanzania/ Zambia/ Zaire/ Vietnam/ Ethiopia and have permanently settled in India are eligible for the exam.
Age
The age of the candidates must be at least 20 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st July, 2019. According to this logic, none of the candidate must have been born before 2nd July, 1989 and not later than 1st July, 1999.
It worth noting that the SC/ ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), and PwD candidates are offered with an age relaxation of 5, 3, and 10 years, respectively.
Educational Qualification
All candidates should possess a graduation or an equivalent degree from any of the recognised university in order to be eligible for appearing for the IBPS CWE PO 2019 exam.
