Food Biotechnology refers to a branch of food science that uses modern biotechnological methods. This program meets the requirements of research and development careers in the dynamic food industry; This program covers aspects of food production, composition, and design. Majors include product design and functionality, food innovation and marketing, food biotechnology, dairy science, and This course covers topics such as food ingredients, bioterrorism, FDA regulations, and rapid detection techniques for foodborne pathogens. It also includes nutraceuticals, nutrigenomics, chemical senses, and nutrigenomics.
