Babu Banarasi Das Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad, is a well-known institution and hundreds of students from all regions of India take part in the numerous courses offered by this university. The institution, popularly referred to as BBDIT, is located in the Ghaziabad district in Uttar Pradesh, India, established in 2000.

Babu Banarasi Das Institute of Technology is an autonomous, private, and co-educational institute part of the Rajiv Educational Trust set up. The campus is along the National Highway-58 (Delhi-Meerut Road), located at Duhai within Ghaziabad. The college is situated 12 kilometers from Old Ghaziabad Railway Station. The campus is part of that region, Delhi-NCR.

BBDIT covers more than 15 acres and features modern facilities. It also has computers in the lab, equipped with the most recent Pentium-4 and i3 computers that include TFTs and 20 Mbps wireless RF Link Internet, and a well-equipped library that houses more than 44,000 books. Babu Banarasi Das Institute of Technology also offers an athletic facility for students within the campus and a contemporary cafeteria.

B.Tech	Eligibility for the B.Tech. programme is 10+2 with PCM as subjects. AKTU (UPTU), to which the college is affiliated, annually conducts an Entrance Examination, UPSEE and all the students are admitted on the basis of UPSEE merit list.
M.Tech	60% Marks in Graduation Engineering from recognized University.
MBA	For admission to MBA course, the minimum qualification required is three years Bachelor Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% from a recognized University/Institute
B.ED	Candidates should have graduation with minimum 50% marks, Should attend entrance Exam.

Placement Process

Every year, one circular is passed by the college, where the students are asked to fill in their information and attach their CVs.
On a student's group or notification board, Companies looking for interns or employees' information is posted. Interviews are conducted on the campus itself, and candidates are selected to be competent and fit for the work.
When the results are out of the last year of any degree program, BBDIT Ghaziabad arranges a campus drive where many companies looking for freshers come to interact, hold interviews and training sessions and shortlist candidates.
