Academic Framework

Since its beginning, the foundation of higher education in UPES has been to investigate and encourage learning areas focusing on innovation and forward-looking. This has resulted in constant improvement in the way we facilitate collaboration and creative learning activities for students by reorienting the course curriculum and exploring virtual tools and open-source courseware, enabling unlimited learning and access to a wealth of information.

The new framework for curriculum at UPES, ABLE (Academic Blueprint for Learning Excellence), is complete in its structure. However, it is focused on the specific needs of each student to learn the world, experiment, and test. The learning is broken down into core subjects and core specialisms, minors/exploratory subject areas, life-skills, and signature subjects. The recently established School provides these three courses for life.

SFL (School for the Future) is an integral component of the complete UPES student experience. It aids in learning and education, balancing what students desire and what is expected of their future as global leaders and citizens of the next generation. With programs designed to provide students with the ability to learn for life, an emphasis on a broad range of current issues, and an obligatory professional and truly unique and social internship experience, UPES believes in igniting to inspire the best version of oneself to improve the world.
