Academic Framework

Since its beginning, the basis of higher education in UPES has been to investigate and encourage learning areas that are innovative and forward-looking. This has led to continuous advancement in the facilitation of innovative and collaborative learning experiences for students through the re-alignment of course curriculum and the exploration of virtual tools and open-source courseware, resulting in the possibility of unlimited learning and access to unlimited information.

The new framework for curriculum at UPES, ABLE (Academic Blueprint for Learning Excellence), is comprehensive in its overall design and yet is focused on the specific needs of each student to learn experiences, discover, investigate and test. The learning is broken down into core subject areas, core specialism studies, minors/exploratory subjects, and life-skills and signature subjects. The newly established School provides these three courses for life.

SFL (School for the Future) is an integral part of the complete UPES student experience. It aids in learning and education that balances the needs of students and what is expected of the future leader's citizens of the world of the future.
