MEd, also known as Master of Education, is an advanced degree program that focuses on researching new teaching methods and educational research. The regulatory body responsible for the MEd program is called the National Council of Higher Education (NCHE).MEd is a two-year duration and is divided into four terms. Some universities and colleges also offer a one-year duration MEd program. The course is offered in various subjects and specializations. Candidates can pursue MEd in distance education and regular mode. After completing the MEd program, applicants can choose to work solely as teachers but as counselors, administrators as headmasters, counselors, etc.
