The M.Des. Post Graduate Program at UPES School of Design is available. The Product Design curriculum is structured to increase complexity and covers broad areas product designers will encounter in their professional lives. The education process includes collaboration with the social sector, multinational and industrial companies.

The new curriculum framework at UPES is ABLE (Academic Blueprint for Learning Excellence). Learning is divided into core subjects, core specialisms, minors/exploratory, signature, and life skills. These three courses are available at the School for Life.

Entrance Exam

Exam Pathway:

UPES Design Aptitude Test (UPESDAT), followed by a personal interview and a presentation about the work portfolio.

• After the UPES-DAT results, we will announce the interview date and the portfolio presentation.

Non-Examination Pathway:

Valid & Qualified CEED Score, followed by Portfolio Presentation and Interview

• After the UPES-DAT results are published, the interview and presentation of the portfolio will be announced.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have at least 50% marks in Higher and Senior Secondary Level (X & XII).
• Tech/BE in relevant discipline/ B.Arch. / BFA. A 3-year degree such as B.Sc./BA/BFA or B.Sc. in applied Art/Design, with a minimum of 50% marks and one-year industry experience. OR 2 years M.Sc./MTech (Computer Science and Engineering). IT Subjects/Domains (Only for Interaction Design).
