Pharmaceutical Biotechnology can be defined as the field of study that applies biotechnology principles in developing therapies. It is among the fastest-growing areas within the pharmaceutical sector. Diagnostic development as an element of care with Biotechnology for pharmaceuticals is popular today. Biopharmaceutical products commonly used include antibodies, proteins and aptamers, DNA recombinant products, Gene therapy, engineered enzymes, etc. Pharmaceutical biotechnology companies create custom-made medications that deliver maximum therapeutic benefits. Many medications for treating diseases are based on pharmaceutical application biotechnology principles, such as the nucleic acid product, antibodies and vaccines.

This multidisciplinary course offers a broad range of understanding and offers skills development opportunities, focusing on practical aspects and exposure to preclinical studies and marketing. The course will cover all aspects of technology related to production, manufacturing, and the registration process for biological medicines.
