Pharmaceutical Biotechnology can be defined as the study area which utilizes biotechnology principles to develop treatments. It is among the fastest-growing areas within the pharmaceutical sector. The development of diagnostics as an element of care with Biotechnology for pharmaceuticals is famous across the globe. The most commonly used bio pharmaceutical items are antibodies, proteins and aptamers, DNA recombinant products, Gene therapy, engineered enzymes, etc. Pharmaceutical biotechnology companies create custom-made medicines that have the highest therapeutic effect. Most medications for treating diseases on the market are based on pharmaceutical application biotechnology principles, such as antibodies, nucleic acid products, and vaccines.

The multidisciplinary course is broad in knowledge and opportunities for skill development and focuses on practical aspects and exposure to preclinical studies and marketing. This course covers the entire range of technologies involved in producing, manufacturing, and approving biological drugs.
