The UPES School of Design's UnderGraduate Program for Game Design revolves around 3D modeling and concept art, scriptwriting, and game mechanics. Academic Framework

Since its beginning, the foundation of higher education in UPES has been to research and encourage learning areas that are creative and forward-looking. This has resulted in constant improvement in the way we facilitate collaboration and creative learning activities for students by reorienting the course curriculum and exploring online tools and open-source courseware. This has led to an environment of learning that is apprehensive and accessible to complete information.

The new framework for curriculum at UPES, ABLE (Academic Blueprint for Learning Excellence), is comprehensive within its structure but focuses on each student's individual needs to explore, discover, discover, and challenge. The learning divides into core subject studies, core specialism studies, minors/exploratory subjects, and signature and life skills learning. The newly-instituted School for Life offers the latter three.

SFL (School for the Future) is an integral part of the complete UPES student experience. It facilitates education learning that balances students' needs and what is expected of their future as leaders and global citizens. With programs designed to equip students with the ability to learn for life, an emphasis on a broad range of current issues, and an obligatory professional and social internship that is distinctive, UPES believes in igniting the best version of oneself to ignite oneself to improve the world.

Eligibility Criteria:

Students should have minimum marks of 50% at the Senior Secondary and Higher Secondary level (X and XII in any stream).

Entry Test

Exam Pathway:

UPES Design Aptitude Test (UPES-DAT) and then an individual interview and portfolio presentation.

Non-Examination Pathway:

Based on the current Board Merit, NIFT, NID, and UCEED scores, candidates are invited to attend a personal interview and a presentation on the portfolio of work.

The interview and presentation of portfolios will be announced following the UPES-DAT outcome.
