It focuses on new-age emerging areas of media, such as mobile journalism, social media, data visualization, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The degree program helps students become digital storytellers. It offers hands-on training in the most modern infrastructure. It provides the skills of cross-cutting communication that are highly sought-after in the media industry, corporations, public policy institutions, and setups.
This is designed for media professionals/entrepreneurs focused on learning the tools needed to publish or manage a website or digital content online effectively. Students interested in starting & managing their website/Youtube platforms/Blogs/Digital platforms for media houses for companies or their influencer networks are good for the course. The major themes in this area are Mobile Media & Web Journalism Information Visualization Fundamental HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Digital Content Management.
The premise of higher education within UPES since its beginnings was to research and foster learning opportunities that are innovative and forward-looking.
