The main aspect of becoming an animator is being artistic and creative. Typically animators have Graduate level degrees specializing on any of the various types of animation like computer animation, graphic arts, and fine arts. Animators also need to have time management and communication skill.

Expenses and other details of the course

The cost for animation courses can range between 30,000 to 3 or 4 lakhs, depending on the type of course the candidate wants to study. A bachelor’s degree in animation can have a session time of minimum 3 years, after which candidate may peruse a master’s degree in the mentioned field. The eligibility criteria for enrolling into animation studies are; candidates must complete their 10+2 or equivalent exams and must acquire 55%marks of the total number.

In aspects of salary, it depends on various different factors like employee skill set, grades he got in different exams of the mentioned fields, experience, etc. Generally, an animator’s starting salary revolves around 10-20 thousand in Indian rupees per month. If the job is in high profile media houses or studio the pay will be higher than mentioned before.
