Admission to this course is made via the NEET-SS Entrance exam managed by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), followed by counselling based on the exam scores that DGHS/MCC/State Authorities conduct.

The fee for pursuing MCh (Vascular Surgery) differs from institute to institute and may range from Rs.40,000 to Rs 1,27,000 per annum in government institutes and for private colleges from Rs.2,07,000 to Rs.29,00,000 per year.

After completing their respective program, doctors can either join the job market or follow certificate courses and Fellowship courses recognized by NMC and NBE. Students can take decent jobs as Senior residents, etc., with a salary range of Rs 25 lakhs to Rs. 55 lakhs per year.

  • The prior entry qualifications shall be strictly by PG Medical Education Regulations, 2000, its improvements notified by the NMC, and any clarification provided by NMC in this regard.
  • To qualify for admission, the student must have permanent registration with any State Medical Council.
  • The medical college's admission cut-off dates for the Pg Degree courses shall be as prescribed by the Medical Council of India (now NMC).

Admission Procedure

  • The National Eligibility Entrance Test for Super speciality programs is a national-level master's level exam conducted by the NBE for admission to DM/MCh/DrNB Programs.
  • Qualifying Criteria-Students placed at the 50th percentile or above shall be announced qualified in the NEET-SS in their respective speciality.

  • Candidates from all eligible feeder speciality subjects will be required to appear within the question paper of the respective organization if they may be willing to choose a super speciality course in any of the brilliant speciality publications blanketed in that group.
  • A candidate can opt for appearing within the question papers of numerous groups for which his/her PG speciality qualification is a qualified feeder qualification.
  • By appearing in the question paper of a group and on clearing the exam, a student shall be qualified to exercise his/her choices in the counselling only for those super speciality subjects covered in the said group for which his/ her broad speciality is an eligible feeder qualification.
