Admission to this program through the NEET-SS Entrance exam held by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), followed by counseling based on the exam marks that DGHS/MCC/State Authorities conduct.

The fee for pursuing DrNB (Paediatric Cardiology) varies from accredited institute/hospital to hospital and may range from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,25,000 per annum.

After completing their respective program, doctors can enter the job market or follow certificate programs and internship programs recognized by NMC and NBE. Eligibility Criteria

• The prior entry qualifications shall strictly follow PG Medical Education Regulations, 2000, its amendments notified by the NMC, and any clarification allocated from NMC in this regard.
• The students should have obtained permanent registration with any State Medical Council (SMC) to be eligible for admission.
• The medical college's recognition dates of cut-off for the PG Degree programs shall be as prescribed by the Medical Council of India (now NMC).

Admission Process

The admission procedure contains a few steps to be followed by the candidates for admission to DrNB in Paediatric Cardiology. 

• National Eligibility Entrance Test for Super specialty courses, is a national-level master's level exam held by the NBE for admission to DM/MCh/DrNB Programs.
• Qualifying Criteria-Students ranked at the 50th percentile or above shall be announced qualified in the NEET-SS in their respective specialty.
• The following Medical colleges are not covered under centralized admissions for DM/MCh programs via NEET-SS:

1. AIIMS, New Delhi, and other AIIMS

2. PGIMER, Chandigarh

3. JIPMER, Puducherry

4. NIMHANS, Bengaluru

• Students from all eligible feeder specialty topics shall be required to appear in the question paper of the respective group if they are willing to opt for a specialty program in any of the super-specialty programs covered in that group.
• A student can opt for appearing in the question papers of lots of groups for which his/her PG specialty qualification is a suitable feeder qualification.
• By appearing in the question paper of a group and on qualifying for the exam, a student shall be qualified to exercise his/her options in the counseling only for those super specialty topics covered in the said group for which his/ her broad specialty is an eligible feeder qualification.
