Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a professional course for which the students are awarded with the degrees in medicine and surgery upon successful completion of the course. The course aims at imparting the quality education and training to students to help contribute to the growing sector of health and medicine. The course is regulated by the Medical Council of India and is spanned for four and a half years divided into semesters, followed by a compulsory internship for a year. The minimum eligibility for the course is 10+2 with the subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Different institutes have different cut off marks however the selection is made on the basis of the entrance exams conducted either on the national level or by individual institutes.
