Govt. Engineering College, Kushalnagar was established in the year 2007 by the Govt.Of Karnataka, Department of Technical Education, Bengaluru – 560001. It is Approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to VTU, Belgaum. The primary aim of establishing the college at the gateway of Kodagu (Coorg) is to provide quality technical education to the students and to achieve academic excellence in UG program . All admissions to the college are made through Common Entrance Test(CET),conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Bengaluru.
