Zaporizhzhia State Medical University

Zaporizhzhya State Medical University is a modern, multidisciplinary higher education institution

the fourth level of accreditation with the right of autonomous management.

Its history dates back to the Higher Womens Courses organized in Odessa in 1903.

In 1959 the educational institution was transferred from Odessa to Zaporizhia and renamed the Zaporizhia Pharmaceutical Institute, and in 1968 - the Zaporizhia Medical Institute.

In 1994, the media received the status of the State Medical University of the IV level of accreditation, the main tasks of which are to provide higher education services at the level of specialist, bachelor and master, as well as postgraduate training in internships, masters programs, postgraduate studies, doctoral studies and pharmacists.
