Shri Gopichand College of Pharmacy

Sant Gopichand Education and walfare society was formed by a visionary group of professionals in 1978 for educational upliftment of rural folks of Baghpat. The society made a humble beginning in opening an intermediate college in a tiny village, Ahera near Baghpat town. Realising that the entire rural belt of the region had no professional institution, the management established “Shri Gopichand College of Pharmacy at Ahera, Baghpat to fulfill the long felt need to impart professional education. Dr. Ram Karan Singh, chairman of the said society, dedicated himself to the everlasting memory of their saintly late father Shri Gopichandji who toiled hard his ancestral agricultural land all through his life in his native place Ahera. He and his family thus tendered the fittest tribute to the great man by opening this college in his name.
