Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology - [SVIT]

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology (SVIT) was established in 1997 on the bank of river Mahi at Vasad, 20 km from Baroda in Gujrat. It is approved by AICTE, DTE (Government of Gujarat) and affiliated with Gujarat Technological University. S.V.I.T. is managed by New English School Trust (NEST). The college is on a single campus of 26 acres of land which is owned by the New English School Trust. There has been a plan to construct a 25 feet wide road joining the national highway to the institute, has been purchased and developed by the management. There are several courses offered at the campus i.e. 8 in Engineering Branches, 4 in P.G. Programmes & MCA.
