Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University, Ukrain

Only September 19, 1991 issued an order Speaker of Ukraine "On the revival of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy on its historic territory as the University of" Kyiv-Mohyla Academy "(UKMA)."

The official grand opening of the University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" was held on August 24, 1992 the Academy has been restored as a secular institution. It became a symbol of the revival of an independent Ukraine.

In 1994 the institution received the title of "National University". Patron of the National University of "Kyiv-Mohylyanska Academy" is the President of Ukraine.

In the early years of re-opening the main University in Kiev, we have seen that it is possible to create a Ukrainian university which is open to new achievements of Western education. We continue to follow this tradition.
