Institute Of Cooperative Management

On the basis of the recommendations of All India Rural Credit Survey Committee, constituted by RBI in 1953, a three-tier setup for the training of the cooperative personnel, functioning at various levels was established. Under the three-tier setup for the training, it had been planned that national institute of cooperative management will take care of the training needs of the senior personnel of cooperatives of the country. The Institutes of Cooperative Management will cater to the training needs of the middle level officers/managers of cooperatives and the junior training Institutes will be providing training to the other staff of cooperatives. Under the arrangement mentioned above, institutes of cooperative management started coming into existence. The same institution; Institute of Cooperative Management was shifted to 6, Old Mussoorie Road, Rajpur in the year 1965. The institute was formed in order to cater to the training and consultancy needs of the cooperative organizations
