Motivated and boosted by a Motto, “Satyam, Shivam, Sundram”, Govt. College for Girls, Hisar, Haryana has been situated at Delhi Bypass covering an area of Thirty Two Acres of land with lush green interiors and exteriors with one block constructed fully. It is five Kilometers away from Bus stand and just opposite to Guru Jhambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar. The institution has elevated upto three faculties viz, Arts, Commerce & Science for academic excellence with thirteen subjects in Arts to its credit along with Environmental studies. The strength of the college is fifteen hundred students approximately. Boarding facility has been provided to the students belonging to remote areas accommodating Ninety students. A library established and run effectively keeps Ten thousand books on various subjects, several magazines both weekly and fortnightly, monthly –Journals and all kind of daily newspaper to enhance and upgrade the know-how of the teachers and
