Global Open University

The Global Open University is a state university established by Government of Nagaland in the year 2006 under the Act 2006 (Act 3 of 2006). The courses of the university are approved by University Grants Commission (UGC), Distance Education Council (DEC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Commonwealth of Learning (COL). There are various master degree programmes, bachelor degree programmes and diploma courses at this University. It also offers short-term online certificate courses apart from its distance education degree courses. These certificate courses are totally online which includes online registration, online study material and also have online examination system.
