Chaudhary Charan Singh Vidhi Mahavidyalaya

The Institution named after the Late. Ch. Charan Singh, ex-PM and person working for the interest of farmers, was founded by the local community in 1983, to provide higher education to the youths of the local area. The Institution started with a modest building catering to undergraduate courses in humanities. Later, course for B.Ed. degree was initiated in 1996. It was only during the stint of Sh. Mulayam Singh Yadav as CM of Uttar Pradesh, that College was developed into its present form. Encompassing the guidelines of UGC and other Higher Education Authorties on financial independence of Institution, most of the courses were started under the self-finance scheme. However, Management has kept the course fees to a minimum so that students from the economically weaker section of the society can fulfill the dream of acquiring the higher education.
