What is ENT Treatment?
Masters of Surgery or MS ENT is a postgraduate surgical study program that lasts for three years. The course is focused on ENT research and further education on the different surgical procedures used to treat issues related to ENT.
The most important topics that are studied in depth include anesthesia, general medical ward, general surgical techniques Radiology and Radiotherapy Plastic surgery, and so on.
The primary eligibility requirements in the MS ENT degree program are that the candidate has completed 10+2 and have an MBBS level from an accredited college.
The admission procedure of MS ENT courses varies from university to university; some universities/colleges conduct entrance examinations while others take direct admission.
Eligibility Criteria:
The requirements for eligibility for MS ENT course may vary between colleges. Below are a list of some of the most common Master of Surgery (ENT) qualifications that must be fulfilled by applicants:
A candidate must be able to show an aggregate score of 50% in medical undergraduate courses, such as MBBS or any other specialized MBBS courses at an accredited university.
Candidates must also complete sufficient practical experience of minimum two years prior to making an application for the master's of surgery program.
Candidates should also be prepared for university level examinations at national level like NEET AIIMS-CET, JIPMER, NIHMANS, etc. The results will show the proficiency of the candidate and their technical aptitude to follow this course.
There is also an additional relaxation of 5% for total aggregate marks for NEET-PG scores. i.e. 45 percent marks are sufficient for candidates from the SC/ST category.
The admission process to the MS ENT program is conducted through an entrance test or merit-based. Applications can be downloaded via the university website or through the Admissions Office. Candidates are required to fill out the required information in accordance with the documents in place.
